The story of the Land A Good Job Workbook

Since so many people were asking me for help, I decided to write down my “Pointers” for Job Hunting. It was one typed page, and I gave it to anyone who asked me for help.

The feedback was tremendous! Those who received my “Pointers” page were very grateful. Many, many people told me that there were several points which surprised them.

They said, “Wow, should I really do that?” My answer was always, “if you want the job, do it.”

Some of the “Pointers” are so simple you will be amazed. Some seem uncomfortable, but they work.

While the “Pointers” page was helpful, I still spent lots of time coaching people. One day, a friend suggested that I write a book. She said that more detail was needed to truly help people in their job hunting.

At first, I didn’t like the idea because I’ve read so many books on job hunting that were so useless. Oftentimes, I would learn only one sentence worth of valuable information in a 200 page book. Therefore, I had a negative attitude toward books on job hunting, resume writing, interviewing, etc.

That’s when I realized that my friend was right. I should write a book. I should write a book that cuts out all the useless fluff and gets down to the important details.

I’ve already read those big thick books. I’ve already tried all the techniques and discovered which ones work and which ones don’t. I realized that I could write a book that was half as thick as the others, but 10 times as useful.

And most importantly, in my book, I would teach an effective Job Hunting System

I would give away the SECRETS that no other books ever reveal. I would NOT simply write 200 pages of gibberish.

I know what job hunters REALLY NEED.
